Hey, Good People!

I hope all is good in your world, and if it’s not, it will get better! Take it one day at a time and use your discernment to make wise decisions, and allow yourself to feel what you are feeling. You must know and believe that it will turn around. What are you celebrating this week? Birthday? Graduation? Good grades? Prom? Promotion? New role? Did you work out three days instead of two? A first kiss? The fact that you are here another day is a damn celebration, so make sure you do something that you enjoy and surround yourself with people who genuinely like you & love you!

I want to shout out to Delta for lowering the pet fee, and I was excited to save a few coins because every little bit counts. Hahahaha, I was back at the airport with a couple of suitcases, a pet, a carry-on, and my handbag. Ugh! I touchdown and go straight to my Daddy’s to pick up some wheels. Wheels up! I want to apologize for everything I’ve ever said wrong about a minivan! My Daddy is letting me roll the minivan, so I have been speeding on the freeway, windows down, bumping loud music, and my dog is holding on for dear life in the front seat. Hahahaha, Los Angeles better watch out because there is a damn minivan on the loose! I picked my family up from the airport, and I honked the loud ass horn and waved. hahahaha, She was laughing because I was driving the Van like it is a Range Rover.

I love my friends & family so very much! My heart is so filled with love when I am around them, and there will always be good laughs, hugs, and love! It took me YEARS to find my tribe when I moved to the A, and I missed home often, but I have made great friends like family! My cup runneth over!

I went to a concert a couple of weeks ago, and the lovers were out! Are you the couple that dresses alike or color coordinates? That is not me, but I can’t knock it lol I was like, “okay, I see you purple & green,” and “Oh, white and pink better werk it” hahahaha Some couples danced in the aisles while others sat next to their boo and held hands. So sweet! I did not take a lover to this concert, but it was a great time.

Hey handsome! “wink,” A nice Trini man who loves soca, roti, and investing! He is divorced, no children, but he is open to having some. That is a NO GO for me! I don’t want children and prefer a healthy and loving blended family, so I don’t date men who want children. I was dating a young man, “Thug Passion,” but I knew it couldn’t be anything serious because he wanted children. The age gap is a 10–11-year difference, with me being the oldest, so I kept it at arm’s distance because he deserves to chill and be with someone who wants the same! He slides in the DM from time to time, but we keep it cool. Hahaha, Sorry, flashback!

Now, back to Trini, man! We chat about the stock market, dating, food, travel, and Bambi, who loves to feast in his yard. He’s consistent with his daily calls and text messages, but he works crazy hours, which doesn’t stop him from keeping in contact. He looks earnest, but he’s very light-hearted with a great sense of humor. He says, “Hey! Let’s go to dinner,” and I oblige. So, we are at dinner talking, drinking, and eating. Is it just me, or do men clean their damn plates? They eat like dinosaurs! Hahahaha, I love it! Heyyyy, T-Rex! So, we are about to leave, and he gets up, assists me out of the booth, and grabs my hand as if we go together. I am about to pass the f&%k out! I DON’T HOLD HANDS! I am all in my head because if I snatch my hand back, that’s rude AF, and he will think I don’t like him. OMG! I think I am sweating on my forehead, and I am about to break out in hives! Hahahaha, I am saying to myself, “calm down! It’s okay to hold hands!” It’s not that it’s a bad thing, but I am shocked because I didn’t see this coming; however, I love a man that can show affection, so I just left my hand in his, and we walked out of the restaurant. He was the perfect gentlemen, and there will be another date in the future. I was not a hand holder in the past, but I think it will be something I will do going forward! What is something that you didn’t do before but are open to doing now?

I think we should all take a risk on LOVE this year!
