Hey, Good People!

How are you? It’s been a while! Here’s hoping all is well on your end and you continue to be intentional about your joy, love, health, wealth, and moving your body. The world can be crazy, but we must continue spreading the love! We must celebrate the small and big WINS, tend to our mental health, and live in the moment.

I spent time with family in Los Angeles and made a short weekend trip to Las Vegas, which was terrific. I love my family and friends, so being home is always a pleasure. I went bike riding on the beach with my daddy and my dog hahaha He was barking at everybody and almost jumped out of the damn carrier. We ate lunch in the Marina, rode to the grocery store, and returned to the beach! The next day I had a heat rash on my face and hands – UGH! I hate that shit…My skin is sensitive! My cousin had a baby, and I spent a few days with them. Then, I took a short trip to Vegas with my other cousin, and it was like girls gone wild! I was drunk, shopping, gambling, talking to everybody, and we played music loud at eight in the morning. I went to a concert Saturday night and sang my heart out! Oh, what a time!

I was back at the airport with a bunch of luggage, but I ensured I had my two free bags up to 70lbs and a carry-on with my essential things. Well, I had the luggage right and missed my damn fight, and my dog almost was devoured by the police K9 smh! He is going to learn not to mess with other dogs hahahaha I was rescheduled for a redeye flight that night, and a pecan tan hero was there to pick me up with his cape on. He rolled up, put my luggage in the car, and took me to my destination. Hahaha, He is a hero in my eyes because he came through in the clutch.

I need one of y’all to call my EX and tell that MF he will NEVER get another chance to be with me EVER. You don’t get to fumble me and circle back. I’m not giving second chances for the same shit we did the first go-round! He doesn’t seem to understand when I say it, so I will be blocking him again. Now, if he circled back and leveled up, that would be a different story, but he’s not the worth headache or heartache. LADY, COME GET YOUR SON! Hahahaha

I am back in the A and attended a great concert Saturday.
Me: Would you like to go to the concert Saturday?
Him: Sure! What do I need to bring?
Me: I am about to pee my pants because I am so nervous hahahahahaha

We have never met in person, so this is our first meeting. I arrive at the venue and have our drinks, snacks, and a polaroid camera because we are about to have a photo shoot. Hahahaha, He’s bringing the main dish, table, and tequila.

Him: Where did you park?
Me: You are headed straight towards me.
He opens the door; we smile at each other, rearrange our snacks, and head to the venue. We did not have the photoshoot because I was scared, hahaha. I felt like a little person standing next to him, and I didn’t have on heels.

We sat down, poured drinks, and rocked out to the DJ. My hands were sweating because I was so nervous; I was hoping I don’t drop my drink because I would be embarrassed hahahaha. I am clumsy and nervous, so I am trying to keep it together. He was the perfect gentleman, and it was a great time. The first act comes on; we dance and sing in our seats, and he knows the songs like me. I could feel him staring a few times, and he would laugh because he knew I was shy, so I wouldn’t turn around. He turns to me and says, “let’s take a selfie together!” Now, my hands are really sweating because I don’t like pictures. Hahaha, I fixed our plates, we ate, danced, drank, and it was time to go home.

After the concert, he walked me to the car and gave me a tight hug, which was the night’s end. We were in contact the next day, and looking forward to the next adventure! 😊
