Rose’ in Chicago

Hey, good people!

I hope you are all doing well! I hope your surroundings include love, happiness, touching, and people you enjoy. However, if you are experiencing a challenging time, please remember that tough times DON’T last FOREVER, practice breathing exercises, Pray, and be intentional about your JOY and moving your body!

My life has been crazy, with too many irons in the fire, getting settled, and trying to figure out my next move. I signed up for reformer pilates and ordered myself a peloton bike. I enjoy pilates because it stretches you and keeps you flexible. And I am an emotional eater, so I try to be cognizant if I am eating crazy and making better food choices. I am intentional about being active because it helps with stress, but I need to make sure I get on the damn bike and sign up for classes hahahahaha. I had a fantastic weekend. I am currently drinking Rose’ at the airport in Chicago, waiting for my flight back to the ATL. I went to the Taste of Chicago twice! I was in line early Saturday, so before I had food, I ordered some damn Rose’ before I ate. WHY? hahahaha I am a lightweight drinker, and that included me being tipsy before 11:30 am. Then, I ordered a jerk taco, elote corn, and a churro. I was intoxicated and caught up with the entertainment that I didn’t realize that the damn elote corn seasoning had wasted on my boobies and the front of my jumper. I had drink and food in my hand and was dancing to the music, and I didn’t realize things were getting out of hand. Hahaha, I did not change my clothes and kept the party going. Hahaha! Chicago is beautiful, and I would love to live downtown and walk everywhere. I am currently trying to figure out how I can make that happen for next year. Oh, did I mention that I got a new piercing? I got an industrial piercing (the top of the ear), which hurt like hell, but I am okay. When I got my nose pierced, the needle only went in once, but with this piercing, the needles went in twice. Sheesh! It was painful, but I will do it again. One thing about me, I love a man that can take charge and tell me what to do. My Peleton was delivered today, and the delivery guy was the head man in charge of the setup and my heart. Hahahaha, He said, “BlackGLitter, I need you to put these shoes on and get on the bike,” I said, “okay,” smiling with hearts in my eyes. I was smitten Hahahaha, I couldn’t remove my foot from the bike, and he said, “Try again! You got this!” Sir, you are telling me what to do and motivating me? Hell, we go together! Hahahaha, The setup was a success, but instead of taking it slow, I jumped in and did a 30 min hip hop ride. WTF! I jumped in headfirst and was about to pass out, but I could handle this, and it will get better over time! I went on a date to a concert, and it was such a good time. Mr. has a great sense of humor, is thoughtful and funny, and has a beautiful beard! BUT he is very tall compared to me! Hahaha, I had on heels, so he didn’t have to look too far down, and I didn’t have to hurt my neck staring up. Let’s be clear I am not complaining! At the end of the date, we walked to our cars and laughed and talked, but he made me nervous, which caused my hands to sweat. He has already told me that he likes to hold hands, and Mr. feels that is the biggest compliment to a man; He always teases me because I don’t hold hands. Hahahaha, Our interaction feels very comfortable, like we have known each other for a while. He’s currently traveling for work, but I texted him that all his cousins were holding hands at the Taste of Chicago. Hahaha, many couples at the Taste of Chicago were holding hands and loving on one another. I called him in a clutch to change the locks on my door, and he showed up with tools ready and ready to work. The least I could do was feed the man, so I had food and drink of choice on deck since he saved the damsel in distress. We also practiced holding hands hahaha I must be ready when it’s time for us to do it for real. They say practice makes perfect! *wink* That was our second concert, and I am looking forward to the next date; he works a lot, but they say people make time for what they want. I hope all of you are celebrating something great this week! Until next time! What’s next starts now!
