Heyyyy, good people!
I hope you are smashing your first quarter goals, kissing and hugging your lovers, spending time with family and friends, and doing things you enjoy! We must be intentional about the things that bring us joy.
It is pollen season, and my allergies are going wild! My eyes are watery and itchy, and I can’t stop sneezing. I like to wear eyeliner, but during pollen season, I have to take a break so I don’t look like a raccoon. 😂
Me: I am headed home next week.
Him: Tell me your gate, and I will visit you
After I checked in for my flight, I sent him my flight details, and he responded, “See you soon!” My seat was upgraded, so this is my lucky day. Once I got through security, I realized my gate changed, so I sent him the updated information. I arrived at my gate, and before I could sit down, I looked to my left, and a beautiful chocolate man was smiling at me. He complimented me, and we smiled at each other. We sat and talked for 30 minutes, and I told him to get back to work before he got in trouble. He didn’t want to leave, but I told him we could spend time together when I returned. He kissed me and headed through the airport.

I took a quick trip home to Los Angeles in my traveling kitten heels 😂😂 which was what I needed. After I land, I always take Daddy to breakfast, and we always chat about current events and my “controlled chaos” life, which he likes to call it. I am a Daddy’s girl, so our moments are precious. I also realize he is getting older, so our time together is also a check-in to see how he is doing. I didn’t tell anyone I was coming except for a couple of friends, but I could not see them due to schedule conflicts. I got a room on Ocean to relax and have a good night’s rest because I had a facial early that morning and did not want to be late. I arrived on time, and my esthetician was late. Haha. After my facial, I returned to the room and returned to bed.

I spent the evening chatting with Daddy and playing with my Polaroid camera, taking shots of him with my broken camera 📸 😂 In the morning, we hopped in the mini-van, picked up my friend around the corner while her Daddy watched from the porch, and off to the airport. While in LA, I received an email from the Botanical Garden asking me to see the Tulips as soon as possible. Once I landed, I went straight to an event I RSVP’d for, and I stayed for a while, but my head hurt so bad. I went home and was in bed the rest of the night.
I finally became a member of the Botanical Garden, which was long overdue. They have unique events, and the Tulips and orchids did not disappoint.

Until next time!
