Heyyyyy, good people!
It has been a while. I hope you are doing well and surrounded by love, spending time with friends, and speaking up for yourself. I hope you are NOT all work and no play. I hope lovers love on each other, you both are being great listeners, do not take your person for granted, and love each other in a way that feels good to both parties. I hope dates, hugs, kisses, and passion are plentiful.

The pollen was so bad that I wore my glasses daily and did not wear eye makeup because my eyes were watering all day. I attended two great concerts and sang my heart out. I love to go out during the week because it breaks up the stress and resets me.
So much has happened these last few months! My cousin’s lover passed away, and my heart aches for her. They had just visited a month ago, and we partied together that weekend. They planned to marry and spend the rest of their lives together! Everyone has great memories of him because he was such a great person. Daddy had a motorcycle accident. He was okay, but my heart was in my stomach, and I sent friends to check on him. Daddy hadΒ a roadΒ rash, a sore ankle, and a stiff knee. He even has a fan club on social media. Smh! I fell in front of Home Depot π It was raining, the ground was slippery in front of the exit, and I fell in a short-ass dress at the exit. I had dirt stuck on my leg as evidence π I am a lipstick fanatic, always looking for the perfect pink lipstick. Well, I purchased a pink plumping lip gloss with my lips on FIRE! π₯πAt first, I thought something was wrong with my lips, but I looked at the container with chili pepper in the ingredients. I screamed and wiped my lips. π My lips do not need to be plumped, and I will return that burning sensation ASAP. Oh, and we have a new family member named Tito.Β

The weather has been beautiful in Atlanta, and the pollen has cleared up! I met up with my friends to celebrate a birthday, and we had a great time. We ate, laughed, talked, rode scooters on the Beltline, and chilled on the swings. I had on heels, so I did not ride, but I took pictures and laughed at the activities. I am clumsy, so I will ride the scooter when I wear sneakers.

I am very particular about who I spend time with lately, but I had two dates this week. I am a member of the Botanical Garden, and they had a member’s event this week. I met pretty brown eyes (lol) in the garden, and we had a great time. There was a live band, a chef showcase, and treats. It was a rough workday, so I forgot lunch, but he bought me some kettle corn. I hoped he would still talk to me after this date because I ate this kettle corn like the last supper. I know he was like, WTH is wrong with her? I am so goofy, so I was laughing in my head while eating like a crazy woman. Lol, I threw the rest of the kettle corn away. The date was fun, but I am not interested in a second date.
Then, I went on a date with the four eyes πOn the first date, it was like we had hung out before. We laughed and talked the entire date. We had so much fun, and we hung out the entire weekend. Four Eyes went on a trail with me on Saturday, and on Sunday, we hung out at a festival with one of my friends. Well, I am lightweight when it comes to drinking. After the festival, I had too many drinks, and I think Iβm the best dancer when I drink. I was dancing in the car, and my friend could not stop laughing; he was in the back seat watching. A week later, we went to a concert, and when I arrived at his house, we were color-coordinated as if we discussed what to wear. We had a great time at the concert, shopped, and went to dinner. He is very thoughtful and has lived in LA for a few years, so he teases me about LA lingo. We have an outing coming up very soon, and there is no doubt we will have a great time.

I’ve been going dancing lately! Do you prefer salsa or Bachata? I feel like the Bachata can get very sexy with the right partner. I had not been dancing since pre-covid, and I was a mess! The great thing about salsa and Bachata is that the man is the leader. Some leaders are better than others, but a man the same height as me led me into submission and made me the best dance partner ever. I turned the wrong way once, and he took charge 150%. He could move me in a way that I could not go wrong, and I felt like we were about to win the sparkling ball from Dancing with the Stars. Then, I went the other week, and my partner’s elbow hit me in the head. π I was laughing so hard, but I had to focus so we could get the turn right. It was a great time. ππΎ

I genuinely hope all of you are being good humans and have friends and family who love you and share how much you love them.
Take time each week to do things you enjoy and fill your cup.
Until next time!
What’s next starts now!
