Happy New Year!
Cheers to a year of increase in all areas! Here’s to flourishing, reciprocal relationships, community, and being loved in ways you didn’t know you needed! I hope you are well, caring for your mental and physical health.

In 2025, I shed a few relationships—this was tough. I value relationships, but when they no longer serve either party, it’s time to move onward and upward.
December was very quiet, but I met a few new acquaintances, which was great. I DO NOT like buffets, but I went to one on Christmas Eve for lunch to try something different and ate at the bar. I had a ball! I started chatting with the man next to me, and the guy next to him chimed in, and we shared so many laughs. Before I left the restaurant, we exchanged details, and he kept in contact. On New Year’s Eve, he reached out to ask if we could have lunch, so we met up and had a great time. He was looking at the menu, deciding what to eat, but I asked if he would be willing to split a meal because I wanted something I don’t eat often and didn’t want to waste money. He ordered, and we chatted about him being a divorcee and if he would marry again. I love hearing stories about relationships because you learn so much, and many people do not marry for love but for many other reasons. I have also learned that in spite of divorce a lot of people enjoy marriage, so some are willing to do it again, ❤️
I had a very quiet New Year’s Eve! I didn’t want to go anywhere, so I brought in the new year relaxing and napping. In January, I celebrated a friend’s birthday by planning a fun activity, which she enjoyed. Recently, the coyotes in my community have been out of control, and I have had to ask neighbors to drive me home because coyotes were chilling in the streets looking for a meal 😳 But, I would fight a coyote if I had to—I love my fur baby that much.

The first two quarters of the year, I am focused on a few goals that will help my career and business, so I need to buckle down and stay focused. I had to carry over a few goals from 2025, and I have already started working on a couple of them.
- A new wardrobe – I’ve bought some new pieces, but I love a statement piece.
- Develop new skills
- Volunteer more
- Participate in new hobbies.
I hope your year is going well despite any hardships, and may this year be what you dreamt of and more.
Until next time!
What’s next starts now!
